A few useful answers

Pool lessons take place at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Albert Park.
01What should I bring?

Bring swimwear, goggles, a towel and drinking water. Let your coach know about any injuries, health considerations or worries that could affect your lesson. Allow time to purchase your own MSAC admission before meeting your coach.

02What level do I need to be?

Lessons are for adults across a wide range of abilities: from swimmers building confidence or returning after years away to Masters competitors, triathletes and Ironman athletes. If you cannot yet swim independently, get in touch before booking to discuss a suitable next step.

03What can we work on?

Your lesson can focus on confidence, breathing, body position, rhythm, propulsion, fitness, longer-distance efficiency, turns, pacing or preparation for pool and open-water events.

04Is MSAC admission included?

The $165 price covers your coaching and chosen written follow-up. MSAC admission is not included and is paid directly by each swimmer.

05What can I choose after the lesson?

Choose either a custom swim set with distances, pacing, recovery times and technical focuses, or a custom swim report identifying your opportunities for improvement and the associated drills and coaching cues.

06How do I unlock the client insight library?

After your first lesson, you will receive a private client access code. Enter it on the Insights page to unlock 20+ coaching articles on technique, confidence, endurance, training and open-water performance.

07Will the lesson be filmed?

No. Coaching is delivered through poolside observation, explanation, live feedback and purposeful practice without filming.
